There are some people who can play two roles at the same time. I love to do this often. I love clicking my own photos and play the role of a 'model' and a 'photographer' at the same time. I enjoy doing this like anything .... and this, over the period has created a lot of 'Me by Me' albums on my hard disk.
Well, it is pretty easy to click self portraits while using a handy small sized Digital Camera. But it is a completely different story if we are planning to use an SLR., especially in manual focus mode. There is a lot one can achieve even in case of self-portraits, if the DRL/DSLR is used in the right way. One has to be quite systematic to get a snap clicked as expected.
In this era of Web 2.0, I found the video tutorials that are widely available on internet as the best source to learn and master these specific things. Later on once we get going, we are free to experiment. However, to begin these video tutorials certainly prove to be helpful.
