Am I missing the warm hugs from AZ?

My recent migration to Wisconsin (Madison) from Arizona has been quite a busy and interesting affair. Moving: Both physically and mentally is a mixed experience. It involves a lot of excitement about the new phase of life. At the same time realizing the fact that you are going to miss some things and mainly people from your prior routine is kind of disturbing.

I got to experience this 'moving' phenomenon twice in my life so far. First one was a big shift (from Mumbai to Arizona) and the second one from Arizona to Wisconsin. I must say, I enjoyed both of these experiences. It is a nice feeling to get to a new place and slowly accept it as yours.

Being moved from the hottest state in the United States to Wisconsin (one of the coldest), I am usually warned by most of the people about the upcoming winter. And yes, they usually get surprised to see the unusual level of excitement I have got to face the winter. Yup!!! People I belong to that other kind. I enjoy wearing overcoats. They look cool. (I mean .. I look cool in those)

Well, I can not say for sure that I will be equally excited about the winter few months later. But who knows !!! I may be.

So, the question is ... Do I really miss those warm hugs from dear AZ? Well ... Not anymore !!! (I may miss those once the winter starts.) But I definitely treasure the warm wishes I have got from all the loved ones when I left AZ and miss all the people back in AZ.
